Curse dj night at Margret was a much fun had by all, danceparty success.  Matt questioned my Junior boys to Labyrinth soundtrack transition….and I questioned my own playing a minute of Andrew Dice Clay stand-up before cueing his ‘OHHH!’ with the  sample of it at the start of EMF ‘unbelievable’…..I stand by it, but realized it may be one of those things that people just aren’t ready for yet.

 As a thank you to Dale for appearing in the poster I decided to print out and frame one to give to him. He was really happy with his surprise gift and carried it around with him for the evening.

Andrew is a pioneer of ‘dressing like your drink’…

I’m working a lot lately, so it was really good to see people last night that I don’t usually get to….I will go out on Saturday to Alan’s birthday if not only for the awesome invitation conversation which was along the lines of : A: comin round my house on saturdee avin some people over. M: yes, sure. thanks! A: bring some tunes over, some mp3’s, whatever the kids use now. M: mp3’s yes, thats right. A: dunno your situation,  you seeing anyone, bring them. M: no im not. A:well bring anyone, as long as they dont teef things…M: dont bring people who will steal things from your house. got it.

I love Alan.

In the the cab back, I realized how much I was looking forward to getting up and working on some table designs the next day. I am really loving this, the huge flurry of productivity and knowing they are going to be used….So now a few are done and I’m enjoying it, I want to start sharing this,  I know people who will no doubt do something good with a similar feel to it…I’ve sent off a couple of emails offering, so I nhope that works out….
